HOW are veggie bites® MADE?
We started by working with our phd nutritionist who formulated our recipes, following AAFCO and brc standards. we then purposefully sourced our ingredients (only from canada & the usa) and bake them at relatively low temperatures in Aurora, ontario, canada. We personally know the people who are making our treats—and dogs everywhere can testify to how delicious they are.
WHERE ARE THE INGREDIENTS SOURCED FROM?
we only source ingredients locally in canada, first, and then look to the usa for ingredients we can't source locally. there are absolutely no fillers, artificial ingredients or colors in our products.
HOW DO I KNOW your products are SAFE?
we make our treats in a BRC certified facility - a facility certified to make human-grade products. Because we adhere to human standards, All 12 of our ingredients are sourced from local Canadian suppliers with a focus on sustainability, environmental responsibility and ethical products. Our Veggie Bites treats contain no animal proteins and are completely free of steroids, antibiotics or any chemical ingredients. Our manufacturing facility has been certified by SMETA which is an ethical trade certification focusing on Health and Safety, Labor standards, Environmental Responsibility and Business Ethics. If your dog has specific health problems or has had trouble with allergies in the past, always speak to your vet first.
HOW many should I feed my DOG per day?
veggie bites® are snacks and not the primary source of nutrition for your so. Our nutritionist recommends that you feed less than 10% of your dogs daily intake be made up of treats - this would approximately be 3-5 treats depending on your dog. If your dog is a bit chubby :) then half of that!

We have only 12 ingredients in our treats so there should never be an issue with them making your dog sick, but, we do encourage all of our pet parents to check the ingredient lists of any product they feed to ensure that it's clear of ingredients that your dog has previously reacted to. Speak to your vet if necessary as It’s important to try to understand what is causing your dog’s sensitive stomach, especially before trying out a new snack or food product.
